TREZETA realizes treatments intumescent fireproofing and for fire protection of industrial and civil structures. The intumescent coatings are formulated with different active components that react with each other when the temperature exceeds certain values, forming a carbonaceous foam and generating inert gas. The developed gas bubbles form in the paint film to form a thick solid carbonaceous foam that can expand up to 100 times its original volume. It originates as an insulating barrier that protects the substrate from rapid temperature increases. The protection thus obtained is useful for increasing the time to collapse of metal structures or to increase the fire resistance of walls and ceilings. All structures can be upgraded with intumescent paints on steel, wood and concrete.
